ABOUT THERAPY
You may feel disconnected from yourself or from friends and family and don't know how to ask for or accept help. It's common to struggle with identifying and communicating about what you think, feel, want and need. The more we stay alone with what we're struggling with, the more disconnected we feel and fear being "exposed." This can cause us to feel inauthentic, awkward or ashamed and we may experience anxiety and depression. Psychotherapy is a non-judgmental space to address all of these issues.

Therapy with me involves a weekly comittment. That is how we build a close therapeutic relationship within which you feel comfortable to face difficult topics. We may explore past experiences to heal old wounds, and we may talk about and develop practical coping methods for your day-to-day. Whatever it is, it will be done in service of you discovering and feeling more aligned with your true self.

I invite you to schedule a free 30-minute phone or video call to talk about what brings you to therapy. Starting work with a therapist can feel intimidating, so if you don't know what to say or ask, that's OK! I can guide you through the call with some questions and by telling you a little about what a typical therapy session with me will look like.
